The Frog Prince

Our new Children's Theatre production by Theatro Vestiario tailored to all our young and older friends and to anyone who feels like a child.

After the success of our previous plays, we hold true to our promise and to our standard of quality and have prepared our new magical play, set in a different time, a royal time. Bringing out true beauty of the soul.

Our new children’s play is based, again, on a known Brothers Grimm fairy tale. A timeless story loved by both young and old children at heart. A story where the characters invite you and challenge you to join them on their magical adventure in a time of princes and princesses. In a time where frogs, can speak.

Action is the focus again with the Frog Prince hero, where he struggles to find his true, inner beauty. A Princes crown, a magical kiss and a golden sphere pave the way of every fairy tale character, defining his fate and destiny…

What is beautiful? What is ugly? No one can say with certainty. One thing is for sure, a golden sphere and a magical kiss, will change the whole world.
A magical production that will keep grown-ups and children fixed to the characters.

Professionally hand-crafted costumes of an older time-period to complete the magical old-time look.

Original scores and songs written exclusively for the production, and beautiful backdrops of the palace and the swamp that will take you back in time.

The screenplay adaptation, the song lyrics were written by actor/writer and director Yiannis Spanos.

The music was written by Vaso Vasileio and choreography by George Nikolaou. The backdrops were painted by Lora Osman and the face masks hand painted by Androula Empedokleous. The beautifully sewn and decorated costumes were created by Dora Chiotis. Photography is credited to Maria Pelecha. Technician, sound & light Marinos Spanos.
