Crossroads V

Crossroads youth theatre camp is organised by the NGO TheatrEtc. for the fifth consecutive year at the school of Kampos village in Nicosia, from Friday 1st of August until Sunday 10th of August 2014. The camp is designed for young people aged 15-18 years old.

The backbone of Crossroads is the art of theatre, which is used as a tool for creative expression and communication as well as a tool for cross-cultural education for young people who live in Cyprus.

The facilitators of the camp are skilled educators and artists who will be daily implementing workshops on theatre techniques, team building and dialogue. Also, young people will be also using and experimenting with other art forms related to theatre (mask making, puppetiring, mime, music, dance and movement). Included to the camp program are also activities such as orienteering and other outdoor activities.

The camp ends on its 10th day with a performance by the young people which is built daily through the entire process. The performance is open to and free for the public.

Participation to the camp costs 50 euro.
