World Art Day Limassol

The World Art Day was established in 2012 by the International Association of Art (IAA) and it has been celebrated every year on April 15, the birth date of Leonardo Da Vinci.

E.KA.T.E celebrates the Word Art Day and is presenting:

Open Studios
The Open Studios is an art event that takes place for the first time in the city of Limassol and is curated by Evis Michaelides and Elena Kotasvili.

Approximately, 30 artistis who live and work in the old town of Limassol, will be involved. The event seeks to explore the city's infrastructure through artistic creation and invites both artists and audience in an artistic dialogue.

The Open Studios will be open from 15 to 17 April 2016.

love (IN) [dis] order
Beat Βαζάρ present the project love (IN) [dis] order, seven-day art event, curated by Silia Panagiotidou.

Christina Georgiou, Christina Papakyriacou, Loucas Ioannou, Marinos Choutris and Ria Alexandrou are invited for a four day short residency starting from 11 April, the public will have the opportunity to monitor and have direct contact with the artists while working.

Final projects will presented to the public on the evening of April 15, and will remain open until April 17.

Video Art Exhibition
The Video Art Exhibition will be held at Old Vinegar Vactory, in the old town of Limassol, curated by Katina Kosta.

The selected artists will present their Video Installation in a one-day exhibition on April 15, 2016.

Surprise
Surprise is an art installation by Elena Kotasvili in collaboration with Fotini Perdikaki which was first presented at the 16th Contemporary Dance Platform Limassol at Rialto Theatre.

The installation will be exhibited in Limassol Molos Area from April 15 until April 17.
