Summer Dive in Art

Summer Programme at the Loukia and Michael Zampela Art Museum.

A weekly educational and creative summer programme at the Loukia and Michael Zampelas Art Museum for children 5 to 12 years old.

Everyday from 23 June to 18 July 2014, 8:00 am-14:00pm.

Inspired by the permanent collection of the Museum the children will gain a multidimensional understanding of the arts and they will learn to create in a critical and exploratory mood. Children who participate will have the opportunity to have a beautiful and creative summer through an original unique way of learning and entertainment.

Children will have the chance to discover important movements of the History of Art, to use different materials and specific techniques, το experiment and create a small portfolio of arts and crafts. They will also experiment with different materials and explore the world of science. This summer programme would also give them the opportunity to express themselves through theatrical games and musical activities. They will get acquainted with the Art of yoga to develop calmness and concentration in order to cultivate their skill of creating. Through our summer program they will work with other children and develop a sense of teamwork and cooperation.
