Ras Digby(UK) on Roots Crew Sound
Aiming to promote the music culture of reggae sound systems in Cyprus, the Roots Crew Sound System hosts for the second time on the island the mighty Ras Digby, an important representative of this scene coming out of London.
Digby Austin, better known as Ras Digby "the Revival Champion", was a member of Sir Jessus Sound System, which in the 1970's had become one of the most important sound systems of West London. In the 1980's he remained an active Selector and Toaster while presenting radio music broadcasts. So far, he continues to travel and promote roots reggae music in his own unique style.
