Modern Greek Painting
The Nicosia Municipality, in cooperation with the Embassy of Greece in Cyprus and with Alpha Gallery, present the exhibition entitled “Modern Greek Painting: Journeys Through Greece and Cyprus (19th and 20th centuries).”
Participating in the exhibition are over 45 renowned artists, presenting over 80 of their works, in a display of a true panorama of Greek and Cypriot painting, with creations by artists that sealed modern Greek art.
The exhibition will be inaugurated, on Wednesday 17 March at 19:30, by Nicosia Mayor Eleni Mavrou and Ambassador of Greece Vasilis Papaioannou.
