The Low Spark | Album presentation

The Low Spark are presenting their long awaited debut album on the 19th of May at Savino Live, in Larnaka. “Α few but many” is the first record by the dynamic rock trio from Nicosia. It consists of eight songs and its total running time is 40 minutes. The sound of The Low Spark brings together the facets of progressive–psychedelic rock, with references to 70s rock, soul and blues. A key characteristic is also the continuous interchange between exciting tensions and melodic lines, which in many occasions the touch the limits of drone, noise and shoegaze music. This band has been performing live for many years now.

The album is a result of recordings done over the period of one year. It was recorded at studio eleven63 in Nicosia by Mikaela Tsangari and Andreas Trachonitis and mixed by Alex Bolpasis at studio Artracks in Athens. It is available on digital and CD. Musicians on the record are Lefteris Moumtzis (vocals, bass, keys), Μario Michael (guitars) and Stefanos Meletiou (drums, percussion).

The opening group for the night will be Black Anis. CDs and T-shirts will be available for sale. The album can also be purchased on the online platform bandcamp.com.
