5th Klirou Atovrisi 12K Running Challenge
5th annual Dro.Me.A Racing – GSP – Klirou – Atovrisi 12-km cross-country race.
Dro.Me.A Racing runners’ club, Klirou Municipal Council and Gymnastic Club Pancypria organize the 5th annual 12-km cross-country race in Klirou. The event will take place on 20/3/2016, with the start and finishing points at the Klirou central square. The following races will be included in the event:
• 10:00 am: 12-km cycling race, participation fee 10 Euros (medal awarded to all participants)
• 10:05 am: Children’s 400 m race, free participation (medal awarded to all participants).
• 10:15 am: 12-km cross-country race for those aged 18 and above, participation fee 15 Euros (participants will receive a medal and a sports towel).
• 10:20 am: 4-km cycling race, free participation.
• 10:25 am: 4-km race for those aged 15 and above, participation fee 5 Euros (medal awarded to all participants).
• 10:30 am: Health walk with Europa Donna (free participation)
The race aims at promoting social sport for all ages to the local society and furthermore it provides an opportunity to support the charity institution of Europa Donna.
The event is sponsored by Hydra Insurance, E&F Logistics Solutions Ltd, Webarts and is supported by the CSO and Europa Donna. The race in under the auspices of KOEAS. Furthermore, the event is supported by Saucony, Bike Hub (with free sport drinks), AWOL (with sport equipment), Antonis Kentelis Physiotherapy Centre (with free massage on the day of the event), Suunto company (with a free GPS watch that will be drawn among participants), eshop for sports with 2 free foam rollers, Nomadic State of Mind with 2 free pairs of sandals, 'Mia Milia' restaurant (with 4 free meals) and P.T. Mountain Sports & Rescue Ltd (with 2 running light equipment to be drawn among participants) and Stephanos Fattas who will provide free peanut butter!
During the event the Municipality of Klirou will offer for free a range of catering delights to the public
