EuroTransit
One of the topics of interest of the European Capital of Culture Donostia / San Sebastian 2016, was the bridging of conflict and dispute. In this context, the project Travelling Embassies travelled to 10 different cities which have experienced similar issues, shedding light on crucial matters such as, the refugee crisis, ethnic conflicts and peaceful coexistence. The documentary on Cyprus is among those which will stand out, as we see people’s hopes for peaceful coexistence unfold through the eyes of the refugees, the creators and the residents.4 representative documentaries will be screened under the curation of Imanol Otaegi.
