A World of Ecobalance

YEU Cyprus is organising an ECO day dedicated to environmental creativity and fun ways of which can contribute to the protection of Earth! Join us on Sunday, 17th of May, in our environmental festival!

The event includes a number of workshop that are hosted to Utopia Collectiva. All workshops are for free!!

11.00 - 12.00 Reuse tights to create key-rings and jewellery
If you have ripped tights or an old blouse, do not through it away! Bring it in our workshop and our volunteers will show you how to convert them into wonderful jewellery!

12.00 - 14.00 Vegetarian and vegan cooking workshop
Join this workshop to get the experience of incredibly dishes based exclusively on vegan recipes. For those who think that vegan cuisine is boring and tasteless, get ready to be surprised!

14.00 - 16.00 Organic planting workshop
In this workshop you will have the opportunity to learn how to grow your own organic garden or plant herbal plants, vegetable and fruits. Before leaving you will be able to take with you a smal flower!

17.00 - 19.00 How to make musical instrument out of reused material.
Lefteris Moschovias from Tat Tnabar will show us amazing ways in which we can make our own impromptu musical instrument from recycled materials. After leaving you will be able to take with you a lot of ideas, music and the musical instrument that you created.

During all the workshops, we will be also hosting an Exchange Market where you will be able to exchange old objects such as books, clothes, toys and anything else you do not need but might need someone else. Bring you objects over to Utopia Collectiva and find there things to take with you!
