Dialogue With Volunteers - Pafos2017
Part of the mission activities of Pafos2017 is the enhancement and highlighting of the Volunteers’ Programme – Pafos2017. Within this programme, Neil Peterson has been invited to a meeting and exchange with the volunteers and the public. Neil Peterson was the leader of the Welcome programme in the build up to Liverpool’s 2008 year as European Capital of Culture and its successful Volunteers’ Programme which has become the benchmark for European Capital of Culture volunteer programmes.
Another significant position in his career was Liverpool’s Head of International and Commercial Relations, continuing to lead the City of Liverpool’s International work, but also leading the work on securing external funding and major bids including the City’s successful bid to host the 2018 World Cup.
The Cyprus Commissioner for Volunteerism and NGO’s Mr Yiannakis Yiannaki will also address the event.
