Cyprus Business Women Awards
The 10th National Cyprus Business Woman of the Year Award will be hosted at the Hilton Hotel, Nicosia on Friday 22 April at 7pm with the winners being announced at an elegant cocktail reception.
Established by Janice Ruffle, the prestigious awards are established and give a platform for business women and entrepreneurs across Cyprus to be recognised. Janice explains “Women are transforming the face of business and society with leadership roles in various businesses and corporations. They have certain characteristics that set them apart and are generally not afraid to acknowledge their leadership style. This year, I’m honoured to announce Saskia Constantinou, twice winner of the National Cyprus Business Woman of the Year Award, as the Ambassador of the Awards and Director of the Formal Ceremony.”
CEO of Apollon International Connections, Saskia Constantinou said “I remember what a huge boost it was for my confidence to win, and offered an added impetus to continue and persevere in my efforts. I am most honoured to be the Ambassador of these Awards and will do my utmost to encourage more women to participate.”
Olga Balakleets, winner of the Russian Business Woman of the Year Award in 2014, presides over the Judging panel. “I’m thrilled to be back in Cyprus for these Awards and am proud to be associated with them. What could be better than acknowledging the wonderful work of so many women in Cyprus?”
In an ongoing effort to improve on the Award each year, there will be two categories – the Cyprus Business Woman of the Year Award and the Cyprus Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The first category is for women working for other companies and corporations, and the second, for those who have their own companies registered in Cyprus.
All women residing in Cyprus are welcome to enter from February 1, 2016. The entries will close on March 1, 2016. All entrants must have either a website or social media profile. Entry forms are available online at www.cyprusbusinessawards.com or on the FaceBook page: Cyprus Business Awards.
