Let's Colour Cyprus: Add your own touch to the Satiriko Theatre

The bold and vibrant colour restoration of the Satiriko Theatre as part of the Dulux Let's Colour project on 28 May 2011, cannot be accomplished without a sense of fun ... It is for this reason, that all those involved invite the public to join actors and artists in picking up a paintbrush and adding their own personal touch and splash of colour to the Satiriko Theatre! Organizers and members of Let's Colour Cyprus have already begun preparations to ensure that everything is in place for the celebration which is set to add vitality and colour to people's lives. The party for the Let's Colour Project will begin at 11:00 am and continue straight through until the late afternoon.

The colouring festival which will be held in the courtyard of Satiriko Theatre in Aglantzia will feature performances by the well known band Tat-Tnabar as well as the band from the Music Academy "The Art of Music" by Evangelos Kyprianides. From 10.00 onwards, there will be live radio links; while there will also be free food and refreshments available to the public... and even locmades! For young children, the program will be just as entertaining with clowns, stilt walkers, face-painting artists and of course event the youngsters will have the opportunity to paint under the guidance of renowned artist Stephen Nearchou!

By converting "grey" and dull spots of the building into beautiful blocks of color, this international move by Dulux <Let's Colour Project> seeks to give inspiration to people from all corners of the world, and in turn give colour to their personal spaces, but also to their neighborhood through a diverse, more beautiful and poignant approach.
