Στις 14 και 15 Ιουνίου 2016 διεξήχθη η εναρκτήρια συνάντηση των εταίρων του Ευρωπαϊκού Συγχρηματοδοτούμενου έργου 'ΜΑΡΙΝΑ' (Αριθμός έργου 710566) στη Ρώμη, Ιταλίας. Το Ινστιτούτο Νευροεπιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας Κύπρου (CNTI) σαν εταίρος του έργου εκπροσωπήθηκε από την Αλίκη Οικονομίδου (Ερευνήτρια και Συντονίστρια Έργων) και την Κατερίνα Φωτίου (Προγραμματίστρια).

Tο Ινστιτούτο Νευροεπιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας Κύπρου (CNTI), συντονιστής του Κυπριακού Κέντρου Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου ‘CyberEthics’, σε συνεργασία με το Γραφείο Καταπολέμησης Ηλεκτρονικού Εγκλήματος της Αστυνομίας Κύπρου, διοργάνωσε παιδική θεατρική παράσταση με στόχο την ευαισθητοποίηση των παιδιών και του ευρύτερου κοινού για το ζήτημα της παιδικής αποπλάνησης στο διαδίκτυο.
