Photo Exhibition in Athienou
A photographic exhibition on Athienou will be inaugurated on 3 July 2014, at 20:00, at the Kallinikeio Municipal Museum Athienou. The exhibition will showcase the 65 photographs that were chosen by the jury from the Cyprus Photographic Competition on Athienou, which was launched in March 2014 by the Association of Parents of Public and Community Kindergarten Athienou, in collaboration with the Cyprus Photographic Society (GG - www.cps.com.cy) Department of Nicosia. The contest was held under the auspices of the Municipality of Athienou (www.athienou.eu).
In total, 26 entries and 154 photos were submitted for the competition by photographers from Athienou, Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca.

1. Alekos Sotiriou, photo title "Athienou”.
2. Sophocles Aipavlitis, “Picking Olives”
3. Romos Kotsonis, "The Ears"
Commendations:
• Noni Papoui, "Plowing"
• Harris Mammous, “Sunsets 5”
• Giannos Zachariou, “I am back again”
The exhibition will be open until 31 August 2014. Photographs are for sale, as well as a book / album with all the photos.
