Nutcracker: The dark side
How many Christmas Eves have gone by since she first met the wooden Nutcracker? When did she cease to be a child? Clara, now in her adult life, will meet him again, but their love story will not be repeated. He will still be made of wood, while she will get lost in the pursuit of a distant utopia.
Konstantinos Rigos, guided by Tchaikovsky’s exquisite music, creates his own magical tale with humour and imagination, ugliness and violence.
