Herbs and Donkeys
Cyherbia Botanical Park and Golden Donkeys Farm present to you the 1st Herbs & Donkeys Festival, on the 25th & 26th of March, at Golden Donkeys Farm in Skarinou. Celebrating and presenting local products of Cyprus, and hosting many activities.
Free tastings:
*Herbal teas
*Donkey milk
*Herbal cocktails
*Wine
*Baked goodies with herbs
Exhibition of local products: herbs, olive, carob, honey and almond products
Presentations:
Herbs of Cyprus – uses and health benefits, by herbalist Miranda Tringis
Donkey milk and its nutrinional value, by Foti Papadema, lecturer of TEPAK
For kids:
•Storytelling
•Treasure hunt
•Baking workshop with herbs
•Crafts
•Live music with natural and recycled instruments, made by innovative musician Lefteris Moschovias
Entrance adults 4 euros, children over 5 yrs 2 euros
Part of the proceeds with be donated to the Christina Apostolou Foundation
The festival is held under the auspices of the Cyprus Minister of Finance, mr. Charis Georgiades
