Flautissimo Spring Concert
Flautissimo Limassol Flute Choir is a unique choir, different from all others, as it consists of 12 flutes! Nothing more magical and wafting! Well-known flutist Theodoros Krasides is the founder and inspirer of Flautissimo Limassol Flute Choir.
After a season of concerts and other various musical events, both at the Château des Arts which permanently hosts Flautissimo Limassol Flute Choir, the Choir presents its Spring Concert at the magnificent St. Catherine Catholic Church on the seafront avenue.
In this concert the Flautissimo Limassol Flute Choir will be accompanied by well-known musicians, conductor George Krasides and guest soloist, dramatic tenor Marios Andreou.
Flautissimo Limassol Flute Choir promises those who will attend, an unforgettable musical performance. On this occasion, the famous concert "Spring" by Antonio Vivaldi could not be missing from the rich repertoire. The programme also includes beautiful "Alla Hornpipe" of George Friderik Handel from the Water Music, the magical Waltz No. 2 of Dmitri Schostakovich, and of course many more. Flutist Theodoros Krasides has the overall supervision of the teaching and preparation of the musical event.
