Fatal Passion
On the 20th of May in Rialto Theater in Limassol well known Russian actors present the play “Fatal Passion” (production director – People’s Artist of Russia Leonid Kulagin).
At the heart of the play is the biographical story of the last days of famous Admiral Nelson and his all-consuming passion for Lady Hamilton (based on the play by the English playwright Terence Rattigan ”A Bequest to the Nation”).
Love and hate, love and duty are the main issues that the play addresses. What is more important to a person – his patriotic duties, his honor or his happiness; glory or love? The love of Admiral Nelson for Emma Hamilton was the love that defied the rules and opinions of the high society.
Everyone chooses their own path…
