Thousand and One Nights. The 17th Night

A long time ago, in a faraway land, there was a young girl brave and smart, beyond any other girl of her age. That girl was blessed with a magic gift, the gift of telling stories. And there was nothing more she loved than telling these stories... Stories about enchanted caves, bloodthirsty vampires, birds that talked and men that flew! And every night, she kept her little sister awake filling her head with all these stories.

At the palace of the same land, there lived a king so kind and fair, that spread his laughter everywhere. One dark night, his wife betrayed him and from that moment his heart was filled with darkness, his love for people and life was lost and his laughter faded away. The sun never again shone above that kingdom.

A thousand days and a thousand nights passed, and even though the young girl was growing in the darkness of the kingdom, she became a beautiful woman, braver, smarter and more courageous than ever before. Deep inside, she knew that she could bring back the light of the sun on their land and make the king smile again. The only thing she had to do, was to marry the king and enchant him with her gift before he ordered her death... and so the story begins...
